Frequently driving Highway 80 thru Selma to Mississippi I am deep in thought & compassion for those that traveled this journey before me and why. The challenges that they faced, the emptiness, the hardships, wilderness, etc... this journey is truly amazing and should be honored for what was accomplished. The raw determination that was felt.
In my travels of HWY 80 I feel the aloneness and determination. This compassion I feel has been the canvas for my thoughts during these drives. This inspiration of past times lead me to "Freedom Highway".
I am presently working on a series of my journey on Highway 80.
